For patients comparing cosmetic care in New York, start with the concern: an expression line, a change in volume, persistent pigment, or an unwanted lesion. Similar-looking concerns can need different approaches.

Botox addresses muscle activity that contributes to expression lines. Hyaluronic-acid fillers address selected areas of volume loss or contour. These treatments serve different purposes; the choice depends on the facial anatomy and the change being considered.

Kybella is another injectable option, used for fullness beneath the chin when fat is the concern. It does not address every cause of a fuller jawline or loose skin.

Laser and light treatments can address selected pigmentation, vascular and texture concerns. The device and settings need to suit the skin and the condition being treated. Deeper skin tones require particular attention to the risk of pigment changes.
